I will dominate 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
